In the intro I share a fascinating fact about how yoga and meditation effects your amygdala - the fear and aggression center in your brain - based on what I'm teaching in the Quietmind Yoga Teacher Training tonight (next class opens March 2020).
This practice today is great for beginners or anyone who wants a practice to strengthen their glutes and hamstrings -- two areas that are often overstretched in yoga classes and under-strengthened. I've learned some really helpful things for this that I'll share in today's class.
