Private Yoga Instruction

STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY AND BALANCE
In private yoga sessions we will address your unique strengths and weaknesses using all aspects of yoga as traditionally taught:

  • Asana

  • Meditation

  • Mantra

  • Mudra (Hand Positions)

  • Pranayama

  • Dinacharya (Daily Routine)

  • Abhyanga (Self Massage)

  • Lifestyle choices

  • Ayurveda

  • Vedic Astrology

I also integrate many modern approaches to mind/body work including

  • Myofascial release

  • PNF Stretching (proprioception neuromuscular facilitation)

  • Sheer stress tension release

  • Pin and stretch techniques

  • Dynamic stretching

  • Resistance strength training

Most of these things are beyond the scope of a public class. Private sessions are recommended if you want to:

  • Begin your yoga practice

  • Learn advanced asana

  • Reach a specific physical goal

  • Recover from an injury or work with a condition

  • Work out specific tensions / limitations in your body

  • Develop a personalized yoga and/or meditation practice

  • Learn the deeper aspects of yoga practice beyond Asana (listed above)

I come to you, at your convenience. How long we work together is up to you. Most often, we commit to several consecutive weeks of working together.
